  • We can fulfill grant requests up to $500.

  • Grants will be given on a monthly basis until funds are depleted. All applications submitted after the 1st of the month will be considered the following month. We have limited funds but plan to give 2-5 grants each month depending on the size of the requests. No partial grants will be given.

All applicants will be notified of the status of their request by the first week of the month following the submission of their application.

Rejected applications are encouraged to reach out for feedback and submitted again in the future.

  • Our grants are aimed at providing the funds to directly impact the completion of a creative project. While we would love to be able to support living expenses, we cannot. Some types of requests we are not able to fulfill are listed below:

    • Unemployment

    • Rent/utility payments

    • Low sales or poor marketplace/festival/fair turnout

    • Routine/ordinary dental work or medical care

    • Routine/ordinary car maintenance or repairs

    • Remodeling/capital improvements

    • Immigration and visa fees

  • Grant requests should be limited in scope to expenses that materially affect your ability to complete a project or show and have come up suddenly.

    This can include:

    • Travel expenses (including air travel, lodging, transportation)

    • Equipment repairs

    • Materials for completing a project

    • Framing, shipping, packaging, photographing work.

    • Promoting your work through printed materials.

  • If your application was rejected, please do try again.

If your request was granted, we ask that you wait 1 year from the application date to apply again to give others the opportunity to apply.

  • You may - one person should submit the application under their name, and the team should be noted in the project description.

  • These grants are intended for projects that have incurred unexpected expenses, ideally a project that was completed within 6 months prior to the application date or is ongoing to be completed sometime within the next year.

If you are applying for a grant to fund an element of a project that has yet to be completed, the funds should be used within one year of receiving them.

If your project is more than a year out, please consider waiting to apply for a future grant date.
