Current Grant Opportunities:

  • Emergency Grants

    For requests up to $1,000, ThirdFire distributes fast-track emergency grants to address catastrophic, unexpected setbacks.

    Examples include fires, floods, or significant damage to artwork or materials. 

    These awards are made immediately to bridge the gap before insurance or other assistance becomes available and have a shorter application. If you have questions about what qualifies about an Emergency, please check out our FAQ page.

    Plates for Progress

    ThirdFire seeks potters interested in being the featured artist for our Dinner Plate Event Series.

    Featured artists are commissioned to create place settings around a theme to support the dinner, which is used to increase awareness and raise funds for ThirdFire.

    The project includes 12-20 plates per event, plus ancillary pieces as decided by the artist for onsite fundraising.

    Selected artists receive a stipend for their work, will be invited to attend the dinner, and are featured artist for ThirdFire promotional pieces and assets throughout the year.

    Project Grants

    For requests between $50-$500, supplemental grants are intended to address unanticipated expenses during the completion of a project. 

    Applications are considered monthly and a new cycle begins on the 1st of the month. Applicants will be notified by the 7th about the status of their application for the previous month’s grant cycle.
