Join ThirdFire on October 11 for Spirits of the South, an immersive dinner experience bringing together Southern folklore, handcrafted art, Gullah Geechee-inspired cuisine, and community at Atlanta’s historic Bell Tower at Oakland Cemetery.

This October, ThirdFire invites you to experience Spirits of the South, a one-of-a-kind evening where art, food, folklore, and Southern storytelling come together around the table.
On Sunday, October 11, from 5:30–8:00 p.m., guests will gather at the historic Bell Tower at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta for ThirdFire’s final dinner experience of 2026. But this isn’t just dinner. Each guest’s place setting will feature an original ceramic piece created exclusively for the evening by featured artist Molly O’Shaughnessy. Inspired by Southern stories, legends, and traditions, the piece becomes part of the experience, and yours to take home at the end of the night.
From a menu rooted in Gullah Geechee heritage to original ceramics created exclusively for the evening by Molly O’Shaughnessy, every detail of Spirits of the South has been created to tell a story.
Tickets are $250 per guest, with only 30 seats available for this intimate experience.
Guests are invited to arrive early at 5:00 p.m. for an optional guided tour of the historic site before gathering inside the Bell Tower for dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Meet the Featured Artist
Featured artist Molly O’Shaughnessy brings her imaginative, character-filled ceramics to the Spirits of the South table, adding a playful and slightly unexpected creative layer to an evening inspired by Southern folklore and storytelling.
Known for creating distinctive critters with plenty of personality, Molly has been busy crafting original pieces exclusively for the October 11 dinner. Each piece is designed to become part of the experience itself, bringing her artistry directly to the table rather than displaying it in a traditional gallery setting. Guests will experience Molly’s work throughout the evening beneath the historic Bell Tower at Oakland Cemetery, and at the end of the night, each guest will take home a handcrafted artist-made piece of their own.

Meet the Chef Pamela D. Jones Mack
Featured chef Pamela D. Jones Mack of Taste of Satira brings her Gullah Geechee heritage, generations of family recipes, and a deep love of Southern hospitality to the Spirits of the South table, creating a menu where every course has a story behind it.
At Spirits of the South, what’s on the table is just as much a part of the experience as the art, setting, and conversation surrounding it. Rooted in her Gullah Geechee heritage, Chef Pamela D. Jones Mack brings generations of family recipes and Southern tradition to the Spirits of the South table. Her culinary story began in the kitchen of her great-grandmother Satira Gethers, whose traditional Gullah cooking inspired Pamela to create Taste of Satira. In 2019, Pamela’s work earned Garden & Gun’s Made in the South Award for Food.
Her great-grandmother’s philosophy still says it best:
“Let me love you with my food!”
