Ignite the Night: A Valentine's Dinner Celebrating Art, Food & Connection
Saturday, February 14th | 6:00-9:00 p.m. | ASH Coffee ATL
On February 14, guests gathered at ASH Coffee ATL for Ignite the Night, an intimate Valentine's Day community dinner that blended art, food, and meaningful connection in support of Southern artists.
Rather than spending the evening in a crowded restaurant, attendees experienced a thoughtfully curated multi-course dinner where every detail was designed to celebrate creativity. Each course was served on handcrafted ceramic dinnerware created by Southern artists, transforming the dining table into a living gallery where food and art worked together to create a truly immersive experience.
Throughout the evening, guests connected with fellow art enthusiasts, creatives, and community supporters around the table. Conversations flowed naturally as attendees shared stories, ideas, resources, and experiences, strengthening relationships and fostering new connections within Atlanta's creative community.
One of the most memorable aspects of the evening was the opportunity for guests to take home select ceramic pieces from their place settings. These handcrafted keepsakes served as lasting reminders of the night's shared experiences and the artists whose work helped bring the event to life.
The gathering took place inside ASH Coffee ATL, whose warm, art-filled atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for the evening. Surrounded by local artwork, handcrafted details, and intimate seating, guests enjoyed an environment that encouraged reflection, conversation, and community.
Beyond the beautiful meal and artistic experience, Ignite the Night also supported ThirdFire's mission to fuel Southern artists and their work. Proceeds from the event helped fund ThirdFire's emergency and project grant programs, providing critical resources for artists facing unexpected challenges or pursuing new creative opportunities.
The evening served as a powerful reminder that when people come together around art, food, and shared purpose, meaningful connections are created and lasting impact becomes possible. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make Ignite the Night such a memorable celebration of creativity and community.
Guests' attendance did more than reserve a seat at the table, it directly supported emerging Southern artists through ThirdFire's emergency and project grant programs.
Every ticket purchased helped fuel creative work, open new opportunities, and strengthen the artistic community that makes experiences like Ignite the Night possible. Through their participation, attendees played an important role in supporting artists across the South, helping ensure they have the resources needed to continue creating, growing, and sharing their work with the community.
Featured Artist: Christina Kosinski
Christina Kosinski’s work brought together functionality, beauty, and intention throughout the evening. Her passion for pottery began around shared meals with friends, where handmade bowls, cups, and plates transformed ordinary gatherings into meaningful experiences. That inspiration continues to shape her work today, resulting in pieces defined by thoughtful forms, soft textures, and colors influenced by her travels and daily observations.
For Ignite the Night, Christina created a custom collection of ceramics designed specifically for the evening's menu. Each piece was thoughtfully crafted to complement the flavors, textures, and pacing of the meal, making the table itself an integral part of the artistic experience. Her ability to seamlessly merge artistry with function made her work a natural fit for the event and reflected the heart of ThirdFire's mission: fostering connection through art.
Throughout the dinner, guests experienced each course served on Christina's handcrafted ceramics, gaining a deeper appreciation for the relationship between food, art, and community. At the end of the evening, attendees took home select pieces as keepsakes, allowing them to carry a lasting reminder of the experience and the artist behind it.
